During his performance at Ultra Music Festival 2017, Hardwell teased five never before heard unreleased singles. Those singles included “BADAM,” “We Are Legends,” “Creatures of the Night” and two other unreleased IDs.

Roughly a month has passed since Ultra Music Festival, but Hardwell has announced his plans to officially release his single “Creatures Of The Night” featuring Austin Mahone this Friday.

Hardwell Wins Big At The 31st Annual IDMAs

Hardwell might not have been ranked as the No. 1 DJ in DJ Mag Top 100 polls, but that didn’t stop the Dutch gargantuan from sweeping the awards at the 31st annual IDMAs in Miami.

Hardwell Lost Number 1 DJ Spot & Why DJ Mag Top 100 Did Not Leak

hardwell

The infamous ranking known as the DJ Mag Top 100 that is more often dubbed as the “popularity ranking of EDM” was reportedly leaked earlier today. The list is based on user submissions, which are then aggregated to develop the chart. As you can see, if you have a bigger fan base you are much more likely to win than if you’re a talented newcomer who isn’t willing or capable of spending thousands of dollars on marketing. Well we’re here to tell you that it actually has not leaked, or at the very least, part of it is inaccurate.

In addition to the reveal of the world’s number 1 DJ on October 18th, DJ Mag will also be kicking off the Top 100 DJs World Tour on October 19th. The lineup for the tour has been slowly trickling out and will feature a series of A-List artists, including the number 1 DJ. Here’s the current lineup for the tour:

Number 1 DJ (to be announced October 18th)
Hardwell
Dannic
W&W
Dash Berlin

So as you can see, since Hardwell has already been announced, that means he’s no longer the number 1 DJ. This also indicates that the supposedly leaked ranking is inaccurate. It’s still included below if you want to take a look at it.
