TALK ABOUT PULSE 87 IN FORUMS, BLOGS, ETC. |
When you come across an appropriate place to mention PUSLE 87 ONLINE – such as music forums like those on Craig’s List, Radio Info, SlashDot discussions that are about music or radio, websites for artists that are played on PULSE 87, Facebook, radio message boards or other appropriate locations – don’t be shy about letting people know about PULSE 87. POST OR PASS OUR FLYERS & CARDS |
We can’t afford to produce and mail out copies of flyers and promo cards, but we’d be happy to provide the artwork for you to print your own. We have artwork for 8.5″ x 11″ flyers and 3.5″ x 2″ cards (standard business card size). You can print out a few flyers to stick up at your favorite clubs, or, if you re so inclined, you can have Kinko’s print you up a couple of thousand and hit the cars in the parking lot when you go to a concert or other dance event.
PLEASE… always ask permission before posting flyers anywhere. We don’t want you to get into trouble (or get us into trouble…)

Dress up your own web site, message board or blog! If you re an artist, let your fans know where they can hear your music! Just choose which size and color banner you’d like, copy the html code, and paste it onto your site. We ask that you please respect the artists and the music and don t place our banner on sites which include pornography or other sites with adults-only content.

ADD A PULSE 87 PLUG TO YOUR EMAIL SIGNATURE |
Almost every email program lets you add a “signature” to the bottom of all of your outgoing emails. If you re a fan, tell your friends. If you re an artist, let your fans know where they can hear your music. Add a brief mention of PULSE 87 along with our web address to your signature. Something like “Check out my favorite radio station: PULSE 87 – www.pulse87ny.com or Hear my music on PULSE 87 www.pulse87ny.com
In Outlook Express, you can do this by clicking “Options” and then the “Signatures” tab.
